About the artist<\/h2>\n

\t\tNathalie M\u00e9tivier started in her childhood to draw and exhibit her work. With her sister H\u00e9l\u00e8ne and Daniel, her brother-in-law, she helped, in 1992, to create Magenta Rubber Stamps. One of her many tasks was to be part of the creative team. She drew many of the images as well as she invented the “direct-to-paper” and the \u201cGhost\u201d coloring techniques. She appears several times on the Carol Duvall Show, a famous American craft TV show, as well as on Magenta’s own videos. She is co-author with Leslie Conron Carola of the books Magenta Style Paper Magic and Magenta Style Paper Enchantments. As she likes to share ideas and techniques with others, she is teaching Cardmaking and Mixed Media techniques. Lately she came back to her first love: making her own cards and selling them.

\t\tNathalie M\u00e9tivier a commenc\u00e9 toute jeune \u00e0 dessiner et \u00e0 vendre ses cr\u00e9ations. Sa premi\u00e8re exposition, l\u2019Expo-Vente de Boucherville, elle la fit \u00e0 quatorze ans. En 1992, avec sa soeur H\u00e9l\u00e8ne et Daniel, son beau-fr\u00e8re, elle a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de la compagnie de loisirs cr\u00e9atifs Magenta. Parmi ses nombreuses t\u00e2ches, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 un membre actif de l\u2019\u00e9quipe cr\u00e9ative. Elle a dessin\u00e9 entre autres de nombreux mod\u00e8les d\u2019\u00e9tampes. Elle a invent\u00e9 des techniques de mise en couleur toujours utilis\u00e9es, tels le \u201cdirect-au-papier\u201d et la technique \u201cfant\u00f4me\u201d. Elle est apparue plusieurs fois \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9 am\u00e9ricaine dans le \u201cCarol Duvall Show\u201d et dans les vid\u00e9os et dvd de Magenta. Elle est coauteure avec son amie Leslie Conron Carola des livres Magenta Style Paper Magic and Magenta Style Paper Enchantments. Elle aime par-dessus tout partager ses connaissance et elle enseigne toujours l\u2019art de cr\u00e9er des cartes de souhait et les techniques du Mixed Media.
